There's a misconception out there in Google Land that poetry does not do well with Google algorithms, so much so, that most avoid writing poetry on their blogs and lenses. I'm going to discuss how important it is to add your main keyword tag in your url links in order to get your lens to rank higher in search engines.

Your main keyword(s) tags should be used first and foremost in all relevant url links off your lens for maximum rank and exposure. Needless to say you need to use your main keyword tags in many of your Lens Titles and within the body of your lenses and they need to be relevant within the context of your subject.

You probably noticed your Squidoo earnings lower than anticipated for the month of April. Clearly the ad revenue was lower for April, but I have noticed new advertisers have come in since.

One theory I have, is that this was the month that Squidoo started handing out Purple Stars and I also noticed, in that particular month, my lenses jumping up and down through all the jostling about due to the boast given to Purple Star lenses.
