Well I think you're right Katinka, I no longer submit my lenses to Google or other search engines. If you build a good lens, they will come!

If your lens isn't there, promoting it online is a smarter option. I've never submitted a lens directly to google in my life. Yet most do well to very well. See also my lens about SEO for squidoo.

To find out if your lens or blog is on Google, just go to the Google search box and type in cache:(with your url address).

If it's not there then submit your site here: Add Url
